RECONNECTING ALAMEDANS
TO THEIR WATERFRONT

The hardworking Northern Waterfront of Alameda is now the setting for a vibrant new mixed-use community: Star Harbor. In collaboration with the city and community groups, a visionary team is creating new retail, office, recreational and residential spaces here that will reconnect the city with its waterfront. The Encinal Terminals site has the potential to do the same for an important section of Alameda’s waterfront.

A TRANSFORMATIVE PLAN

The historic Del Monte Warehouse is slated to become an exciting, pedestrian-friendly, sustainably designed place. The current plan will preserve the warehouse, designated as a city landmark. Within and around the five-acre building will be up to 380 flats, lofts and townhomes, and 30,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.

Planning for the transformation of the Encinal Terminals site is underway.
