Folsom Zoo

The Folsom Zoo is a sanctuary for rescued zoo animals. They hold great events in the spring and summer for families to get together and visit the zoo! Animals range from birds to bears – they have a wide assortment to see. Tickets to the zoo are only $14 and make a great way to spend an afternoon!

Humbug-Willow Creek Trail

The Humbug-Willow Creek Trail stretches for 32 miles into Sacramento from Folsom. It runs right behind Preserve at the Parkway! There are several access points to join this trail! Along the way, you’ll experience some wildlife, mild hills and gorgeous pond views. A Saturday afternoon would be the perfect opportunity to enjoy this long trail. Folsom Lake

Imagine a perfect spring or summer day out near the water! Folsom Lake has several entrances on separate parts of town that allow access to the lake. You can view all entry points here! Enjoy the warm sand and a picnic with the family while taking in the sun and the view of the lake. There are a ton of trails that wrap around the lake and they feature beautiful flower that begin to bloom in the swim and wildlife! There are even a few spots to go camping. There are two main shopping attractions in Folsom, CA. The Palladio at Broadstone and Folsom Premium Outlets. The Palladio has a variety of shopping stores but also has a Barnes & Noble bookstore where you can enjoy food and wine while reading a new book. There are a few different restaurants to choose from as well including Lazy Dog and Chicago Fire. The Folsom Premium outlets have stores including Nike, Sunglass Hut and Famous Footwear.
