What’s going on this summer in Rocklin? The answer is A LOT! We are a busy community full of lively individuals who want to get out and make the most of this place we call home. Residents of the Rocklin, Roseville, Loomis, Auburn, and Granite Bay areas take note: there are a ton of fun events going on in the area this summer.
June 1st—The Rocklin Ramble 5K
Join other Foothill area families on Sunday June 1st at Johnson Springview Park for the crazy fun Rocklin Ramble 5K event, Community Wellness Expo, and Kidsfest. This community driven event will include a fun obstacle course, entertainment, demonstrations, and food. The race and festivities are free to the public, and the theme is ‘superheroes.’ Dust off your running shoes, iron your cape, and get ready to have some fun in the sun!
June 13th—Sizzlin’ Summer Kick Off Party
Join the rest of the Rocklin community at Johnson Springview Park on June 13th, 2014 for the Sizzlin’ Summer Kick Off Party. Entertainment will include rockin’ tunes from Hank Biggs and the Hard Tops, a vintage car display, and all the food truck action you can handle, courtesy of SactoMoFo.
June 19th – June 22nd—Placer County Fair
The old-fashioned Placer County Fair is back in town. Bring the whole family to the Placer County Fairgrounds between June 19 & June 22, 2014 to enjoy classic fair food, fun family rides, farm animals, arts and crafts, and much more. Admission is only $6 for adults and $3 for children, and there’s plenty of parking available in the immediate area.
July 4th—Lincoln 4th of July Celebration
There’s a party in town, and it’s called the Lincoln 4th of July Celebration. This local party held at McBean Park in Lincoln, CA celebrates our nation’s independence, and continues to be a crowd pleaser year after year. There is a rousing musical lineup, an open pool for cooling down, tons of delicious food from some of Lincoln’s favorite food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks display to culminate the evening.
As you can see, there are a ton of fun things to do if you live anywhere near the Rocklin, Roseville, Lincoln, Newcastle, Loomis, or Auburn area this summer. These events are always family friendly events and are easy on the budget too for anyone looking for family friendly activities to do in South Placer County.
While you are out and about, stop by and visit our sales offices at Crowne Point in Rocklin or Vista Ridge in Roseville and view some of the elegant new homes for sale in the neighborhood.
