There are two primary Elementary Schools zoned for homes in Preserve at the Parkway! Empire Oak Elementary School or Oak Chan Elementary School. Both are very close to the community which provides convenience for home buyers. Empire is only two minutes away and Oak Chan is just four minutes away. These two schools are within walking distance. Either school would be a fantastic option for your little ones!
Middle School
Folsom Middle School is only 6 minutes from Tim Lewis Communities Preserve at the Parkway and features grades 6th-8th. The best part about Folsom Middle School is their academic progress – every year they have improved on their test scores and currently hold a 9/10 rating on greatschoolratings.org. They also have a non-profit volunteer organization program of parents that help the school every year! These parents help by performing after class programs and hosting several events throughout the year.
High School
Vista Del Lago is only 3 minutes away from Preserve at the Parkway! Providing education for 9th-12th graders, they feature a ton of awesome clubs to be a part of. The benefit of Vista Del Lago is the capacity of students is much less than Folsom High School which means your child will have smaller classes. This particular high school runs off of a block system which consists of 4 classes at 90 minutes each. With the block schedule, it allows students to complete 32 classes in a full year versus the traditional 24.
