Mark your calendars, it’s almost baseball season!
Are your kids excited about a fresh, new season of baseball? Well, the wait is almost over. Registration for the City of Galt T-Ball league opens on February 1, 2022, for players age 4 and 5. Game play is anticipated to begin March 19, 2022.
However, with the excitement of a new season, we are still in need of coaches for our T-Ball division. If you are interested in coaching, and diving deep into the Galt community, email galtpandr@cityofgalt.org.
If your children are over the age of 5, no need to worry ! Galt Youth Baseball runs both a baseball and softball leagues. Check out the Galt Baseball Page to learn more!
Delicious Food Right in Your Backyard
If you enjoy all things food, you’re in for a treat! Elk Grove will be holding their popular Food Truck Mania event on the first Wednesday of every month. This is located in the Old Town Plaza, just down the road in Elk Grove. Make sure to save the date!
Looking for even more ways to buy delicious food and get great bargains in one spot? You can come on down to the Galt Market every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 am to 2 pm. Just around the corner, the Galt Market is an inviting place to browse over 400 vendors! Tuesdays are for highlighting retailers and wholesalers while Wednesdays focus on fresh produce, antiques, and irresistible new merchandise.

Want to learn more about what nature has to offer? Looking to study all things bird related? Look no further, Galt is bringing you the virtual 15th Annual Winter Bird Festival on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10 am to 2 pm. With free admission to all, you don’t want to miss this great event!
