Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, Galt holds its famous Galt Market. The market consists of over 400 vendors! Tuesday is focused on retailers and wholesalers while Wednesday consists of fresh produce, antiques, and new merchandise pieces.
If you didn’t get your fix at the Galt Market, you can swing by the Farmers Market every Friday evening from June 4th to August 27th. There is certified produce, artisan booths, fresh flowers, and food vendors.
Food in the Hood 916 is a program that Galt does to foster its community and partner with local businesses. Every week in the summer from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, neighbors gather at different designated parks to enjoy music, dinner and dessert.
Looking to get dressed up for a date night? Lodi is just a few minutes down the freeway and home to some of the best wineries in Northern California. 40% of the Zinfandel wine that is made in California is produced in Lodi!

There are a variety of tours including the Behind Locked Gates Tour which focuses on Galt’s Annual Winter Bird Festival.
Valensin Ski Ranch (VSR) offers a great opportunity for new and experienced ski enthusiasts. With package deals varying from one day ski rides to four day/three night stays there are a variety of options for you.
Want to take a couple swings at a beautiful course? With over 30 golf courses in the Greater Sacramento Area, there are many choices for you to tee off from. Dry Creek Ranch Golf Club is an 18 hole course located in Galt. Having a golf course just a stone throw away is a huge advantage within your busy schedule.
